POSTPARTUM DOULA TRAINING:

We offer a very comprehensive training program for women who desire to work in the home with new families. The training is a 3 day workshop and prepares you to continue on to become certified under DONA, Int. . Trainings are held 2-3 times a year.

Quarterly Meetings:
Our group meets 4 times a year. At our meetings, we have speakers, group discussion, networking and fun!! All doulas from the community are welcome, and for the new doulas in training or about to take a training: please join us! It's a great way to get excited about doula-ing and meet your sister doulas!

If you would like to observe a series of childbirth classes to enhance your knowledge in the doula field, you can contact Stacey at (619) 583-1129 to observe. (classes run 6 weeks long at Mary Birch Hospital on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings.)

On-going Exercise Classes for Mom and Baby:

Mom and Baby Fitness: Thursdays: 10:00-11:30 a.m.

This exercise class incorporates all types of fitness for an all over body workout. Light aerobics, weights, yoga, pilates and stretch are all woven together to give mom a great workshop that is fun and full bodied. Mom sleeps better, feels better, looks better and baby enjoys the class also. All NEW moms need a total workout for the best recovery and this class will acheive that for her!

This class allows mom to get in her yoga practice while baby joins her. Wonderful wellness for all!
